Captain, is one of the 9 puppies from Ally x Ollie, born on 8th December 2023. Captain was the pick of the litter - selected by myself, and multiple golden retriever breeders and championship show judge. Captain has definitely lived up to his name and has performed extraordinarily well at championship shows. 

Captain is often described as ‘a very relax dog’ and ‘the goodest boy’. Captain enjoys being at the show and often gives his best strut in the show ring. One of the most surprising and major wins for Captain was his debut Minor Puppy show at 6 months old. At that show, Captain surprised everyone by winning Dog challenge, he then went on to win Best of Breed and then managed to get Best Minor Puppy in Group. He strutted out of the ring with many breeders cheering and clapping for him. The judge of that show came up to me after the show and said she was so glad to see Captain performing well and looking so great for his age and told me that ‘you will be having a lot of fun with this dog’. 

From then on, Captain performed consistently and won multiple Best of Breeds, Dog Challenges and Class in Group. Captain gained his 'Australian Champion' title on the 29th of October 2023, achieving this at only 10.5 months of age. Being my first homebred champion dog, I am extremely proud of him and he will always have a special place in my heart.
