'From the moment Nova arrived at our farm she has been completely at home and relaxed in her environment. Even toilet training was a breeze (as long as we remembered to take her outside at regular intervals). She has been a perfect match for us and all that goes with running and breeding beef cattle and poultry. Nova fitted in beautifully with our two female kelpies. She was respectful and submissive, and by bowing to their seniority she quickly took her place in the pack without any aggression. She is the most wonderful, loving and loyal companion on walks, checking and mustering cattle and any other farm work.  In fact the cattle and poultry all respond positively to her as she was very quick to learn manners due to our close supervision and voice training. To this day she has never harmed a chick! But that doesn't mean she can't hunt; with the team effort of the Kelpies' flushing and flanking support, Nova has become skilled at hunting down and capturing rabbits and hares—a very tasty dinner! She swims daily and enjoys rounding up ducks and ducklings in the process!

To sum up, our beautiful pup from Victor has been an absolute joy and delight and we can't recommend this breed, and how well-prepped and well-adjusted our girl was even at 8 weeks of age (even after managing a car trip from Melbourne to Adelaide).  Nova is just so incredibly resilient and we love her dearly. As Nova is now 2 years old it is pertinent to add that throughout the duration Victor has been on hand to provide us with support, guidance and advice on anything we've needed to know or been unsure about.
